Giacomo Pizzo is an architect and designer with a background in fine arts and 12 years of experience as an architect in Denmark. He is highly design-focused and specializes in developing creative architectural concepts. He has developed multiple winning designs for renowned Danish firms.
After finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Venice, Italy, Giacomo moved to Copenhagen where he completed his Master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Subsequently, he worked at COBE and JAJA Architects where he was behind the design of several winning competition proposals in the span of 4 years.
At JAJA, Giacomo was a design and competition project manager responsible for design and idea development. The mix of his technical knowledge, design talent, 3D, as well as visualization skills, allowed him to quickly develop projects from idea to architecture.
Continuously embodying ideas and thoughts throughout the process, it becomes very natural for Giacomo to involve the team and the developer in the project development process. In 2018, Giacomo joined Henning Larsen as Lead Design Architect and was responsible for the winning proposal of Cockle Bay Park Tower in Sydney, among other projects.
Giacomo joined 3XN in the Spring 2020 and has driven the design development of some of the firm's most recent and prestigious projects including the new extension to Green Solution House hotel and the Shenzhen Natural History Museum. He is currently an Associate Architect and Lead Designer based in Copenhagen.
