ABOUT
Ses Fontanelles aims to create a unique masterplan that starts from the native environment of the wetland area. By embracing the natural qualities and designing around them, we aim to create a new eco smart neighbourhood.
Our masterplan is not aiming to urbanize a new area, on the contrary its goal is to design a park with buildings in it. The dominant feature is the wetland and the design adapt and interact with it.
The second main feature is the users of the area. We designed a masterplan by starting from the communal spaces. We studied what will be the community life of the whole area and designed around that. The masterplan aims to enhance and foster interactions between the different users and areas, so that they can all gain from their proximity.

Concept
We took inspiration from the native wetland and used its organic shape and modules as a strong design driver.
Exterior Render
The buildings are all composed of modular arches that contain space for lush greenery in order to create luxurious and private apartments overlooking the interconnected wetlands.
